We need a new story...a new dawn.

'We need a new story, a new dawn' are the resounding words we hear everywhere. Regrettably, we have to revisit the painful past to create a better tomorrow, for we cannot create change from the same platform. We have to step up.     

What is next on the agenda for us? It seems like we are under attack. The focus of the last two years has been; covid, negative and divisive politics, currently the sad Ukraine plight as well as conflict in many other parts of the world, and also rising inflation. Those seem to be the main topics of discussion. Well, certainly here in the US, in the UK, and in South  Africa, and it just about covers all the angles that deplete our sense of well-being with an eruption of negative emotions.

Do we  join the fray and add to the doomsday dialogue? Who can we blame? Do we need a scapegoat?

But, there is a better story! One of love, hope, faith, compassion, caring, and community... especially in our homes and the workplace, and socially.

Have we forgotten who we are? Have we forgotten that we are a spark of the Divine? Have we forgotten that within, each one of us is gifted with love, peace and joy? No one and no situation outside of us can make us feel better...or worse. Each one owns that - peace, joy, and love, and can choose to share it, especially to those who feel helpless and hopeless in their circumstances and are in dire need of some positive input. 

Bad things happen - always have, and always will.

Good people can do something about it.

Good people can love and support, and bring hope and joy.

We have to dig deep and draw on our inner strength and power to bring some light into our world. Every one of us can do that. Mom and Dad, business folks, teachers, everyone! 

We don't have to join the negative fray, we can be beacons of hope and in that way support those who are living under very different, and very difficult circumstances. We can spare them a thought and a prayer, and send them positive vibes, from wherever we are, and across the miles. Everyone needs it at this moment, and rest assured, our thoughts and words carry great power. Let's use it positively! 

Can we do something...anything? 

Yes, we can. We are all in this together.
